Datuk Chong is the founder and Managing Partner of Knights Capital Partners, a regional private equity firm (www.knights.vc). He is also the Founder and Director of Kento Levin Advisory, a corporate consultancy firm with a focus on capital markets.

Prior to establishing Knights Capital Partners, Datuk Chong was the Chief Executive Officer of Creat Capital and a Partner of Creat Fund Management Group, which manages the Rothschild Creat Partners Fund (US$750 million global private equity fund) and the Mitsubishi Creat Fund (Yen 10 billion / US$130 million Japan-focused private equity fund).

Datuk Chong has been a Wall Street investment banker for over 25 years, and has held senior positions in bulge bracket investment banks such as Goldman Sachs and UBS in London and Hong Kong. Over the years, he has successfully raised tens of billions of dollars for dozens of clients in IPOs and equity offerings on numerous major exchanges, including Hong Kong Exchanges, New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ Markets, London Stock Exchange, Australian Securities Exchange, Korea Stock Exchange, Börse Frankfurt, Singapore Stock Exchange, Bursa Malaysia and Taiwan Stock Exchange.

Datuk Chong is a United Kingdom law graduate from London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and holds an MBA degree from London Business School (LBS). He is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
