BTEC International Level 3 
Extended Diploma in
Performing Arts 

The Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts at Asia Ballet Academy is a full time vocational qualification equivalent to three International A Levels. Awarded by Pearson, it is internationally recognised by universities, colleges, and employers.
 

This two year course combines structured practical training with academic study, focusing on performance, technique, creative development, and professional practice. The curriculum is built around core units that establish a strong foundation in performance and technical excellence, while enrichment components broaden students’ artistic knowledge and professional awareness, supporting the development of well rounded, versatile artists.

Students are assessed through internally verified coursework, practical assignments, and live performance projects rather than relying solely on final examinations, ensuring consistent and measurable progression. Through our professional industry network, learners gain access to performance opportunities, masterclasses, mentorship, and internships locally and internationally.
 

Designed for progression to higher education, professional training, or careers in the performing arts, the programme develops strong technical foundations alongside essential transferable skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and reflective practice, preparing graduates for sustainable careers in the creative industries.
 

Duration: 2 years 
2 Intakes per year (March and September)
 

Entry Requirements: 
• Subject to audition
• English qualification : O Level Pass / IELTS 5.0 /TOEFL 45 or equivalent 
   (Must be obtained during the 2-year programme if not held at entry)
