Ms Sookmeng is a former apprentice with Ballet Theatre Malaysia in 2022. She graduated from New Zealand school of Dance , under the artistic directorship of Garry Trinder, with a Dance Certificate in 2019, she went to San Francisco Ballet School in 2019 to join the pre professional level with a full scholarship.
She represented NZSD and won the 2nd place for Alana Haines Australian Award.
